William B. Pendleton (retired 12/31/08)
Mr. Pendleton, senior partner, founded the firm in 1957 after obtaining his Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Kansas. Born and raised in Lawrence, Mr. Pendleton brought to the firm both a strong work ethic and a strong belief in the value of participating in community activities and affairs. Those values form the basis of the firm to this day.


Brandy L. Sutton
Ms. Sutton, managing partner, has been practicing law since 1998 and is licensed to practice law in the states of Kansas and Missouri and in the United States District Courts of Kansas and the Western District of Missouri. Ms. Sutton focuses on the areas of landlord/tenant law, debt collections, creditors' rights, real estate collections, leases and leasing, and garnishments. Prior to coming to the firm she worked in various aspects of the collections industry. She is a graduate of Leadership of Lawrence, and is an active member of the Lawrence Express Network Chapter of the American Business Women's Association, Kansas Credit Attorneys Association (President in 2005), Douglas County and Kansas Bar Associations, the the Missouri Bar, the Topeka Area Collection Bar, the American Business Women's Association, the Kansas Elder Law Hotline and a member attorney of the America Collectors Association. Ms. Sutton earned her B.A. and her J.D. at the University of Kansas.
